RR Patil / Mr Clean resigns

This is just not fair on Patu, rather cruel . . . cruel to the extent of being inhuman.

I have been following Patu for long. He is such a chum . . . forever active and ready for action.

As a kid Patu was exceptional in extra curricular activites, and as a windfall, weak in academics. Fast Forward 30 years and replace academics with profession and extra curricular with filmfare awards, zee cine awards, saas bahu jija jiji start plus awards and of course parties. You have got a hi fi party in Mumbai and whoa . . Patu is there . . promptly displaying his drink and oscillating between bollywood beauties !!!

I can never forget the day - Oct 29, 2004, when the boy from Sangli became Deputy CM and was called upon by big guns to handle the home portfolio. It was tragic. They spoke in English. For a long time Patu thought that as home minister, he is supposed to manage homes of people in Maharashtra. So he staretd off . .

- All children to get up early in the morning and take bath with cold water
- All children to touch the feet of their Mummy, Papa, Aaji, Aajoba
- Girls to be home before 11pm
- All dance bars to be closed . . .

With aforesaid context, how can media stoop so low so as to ask him to comment on Mumbai blast. Its barbarous, atrocious and amounts to a sacrilege. I would rather ask Shakira to sing 'Tandoori Nights' in the voice of Himesh Reshammiya rather than ask Patu something so absurd.
A more appropriate question for Patu would have been -

While covering Mumbai blasts, Rajdeep Sardesai's collar buttons were unbuttoned. Dont you think it amounts to indecent exposure and can misguide the youth?

  1. Humour, followed by utter disgust at the state of affairs of our politics.

Goes in line with the following simple message at the rally at the gateway last Wednesday :

10 Pakistanis on a boat come and take away our dignity because you, Mr. Politician, are Incompetent, Illiterate, Selfish and Corrupt.
